THE FARM COACHING RETREAT

Step inside the ideas, movement principles, and training environments shaping the next era of player development.

FOUR DAY EVENT

Immersive in-person learning experience for coaches who want to go deeper than surface-level instruction.

SMALL GROUPS

Each retreat is intentionally limited in size (12) to encourage meaningful dialogue and collaboration.

SHADOWING

Shadow live training sessions and see how ideas translate from theory into real coaching environments.

INSIDE A DAY AT THE FARM RETREAT

01

MORNING → Learn The Framework

Each day begins with an open Q&A session where coaches can ask questions and discuss ideas from the previous day. From there, we move into the core learning portion of the retreat with two presentations from The Science of Hitting curriculum, covering foundational concepts in movement, skill development, and coaching application.

02

AFTERNOON → Discuss & Apply It

After the morning sessions, we break for lunch before returning for a collaborative group activity. These sessions are designed to explore the concepts more interactively and allow coaches to discuss how the principles can apply within their own training environments.

03

EVENING → See It In Action

The day concludes with shadowing opportunities where attendees observe live training sessions with athletes. This allows coaches to see how the concepts discussed earlier in the day are applied in real time inside the cage.

Lifetime Access to the Material

Attendees receive lifetime access to the sections of our curriculum covered during the retreat. After the event, participants will be granted access to these chapters inside The Farm System app, where the presentations and supporting materials are available for review at any time. The retreat covers the first half of our coaching curriculum, The Science of Hitting, allowing attendees to revisit the concepts, presentations, and frameworks long after the event ends. This ensures coaches can continue studying and applying the material within their own training environments.

Optional Lodging Package

Lodging is offered as an optional add-on for attendees who prefer to stay with the group during the retreat. For each event, we rent a nearby Airbnb that accommodates up to eight attendees. The home typically includes multiple bedrooms and shared living spaces, creating an environment where coaches can continue conversations and build relationships outside of the daily sessions. Some attendees may share rooms depending on the layout of the home. When possible, we prioritize providing separate rooms for women, though final arrangements may depend on the group attending each retreat. Lodging is limited and generally available on a first-come, first-served basis for the first eight attendees who select the lodging option.

Lunch Provided Each Day

Lunch is provided each day of the retreat for attendees so you can continue conversations without needing to leave the facility. Each day features a different meal, including options such as: Turkey & Ham Sandwiches, Pizza, Tacos, and Pasta. Meals are designed to keep the group together during the day and create opportunities for informal discussion with other coaches and attendees.

Exclusive Event Handbook

Each attendee receives a Farm Retreat handbook at the beginning of the event. This exclusive resource is designed to guide you through the curriculum and presentations as we move through the retreat. The handbook includes key visuals, structured notes, exercises, and activity sections that align with the concepts being taught throughout the event. It’s designed to help you follow along during presentations, capture insights, and participate in group activities. Attendees take the handbook home at the end of the retreat, giving them a physical reference they can revisit as they continue applying the concepts in their own coaching environments.

Certificate of Completion

At the conclusion of the four-day retreat, attendees who participate in the full event will receive a certificate of completion for the first half of The Science of Hitting curriculum. The certificate includes your name and is signed by The Farm System team. Many coaches choose to include it as part of their professional development or continuing education portfolio. For those pursuing coaching positions or advancing within organizations, it can also serve as a way to demonstrate continued learning, commitment to development, and exposure to advanced training concepts in player development.

WHAT'S COVERED DURING THE RETREAT

During The Retreat, We Work Through The First Half Of Our Coaching Curriculum, The Science of Hitting.

Across four days, we work through eight foundational chapters that build a deeper framework for understanding movement, skill development, and coaching.

INSIDE THE CURRICULUM

EVENT FAQ

No. We intentionally do not provide early access to the curriculum. The retreat is designed so that everyone experiences the material together during the event, which allows for better discussion, shared learning, and live questions throughout the week. Each morning includes a Q&A session where attendees can ask follow-up questions from the previous day’s material. After the retreat, you’ll also have access to the community inside the app where you can continue asking questions and discussing the material as you revisit it over time.

No. While lunch is provided each day, attendees are not required to eat with the group. If you have dietary restrictions or prefer to bring your own food, you’re welcome to do so. Attendees are also free to leave for lunch if they’d like. We simply ask that everyone return on time so the afternoon sessions can begin as scheduled.

No. The lodging package is completely optional. Many attendees choose to arrange their own accommodations nearby and simply attend the retreat sessions each day. You are welcome to stay offsite and still participate fully in the event.

At the end of the four-day retreat, attendees who participate and are present each day will receive a certificate of completion for the first half of The Science of Hitting curriculum. The certificate will include your name and be signed by The Farm System team.
