Step inside the ideas, movement principles, and training environments shaping the next era of player development.

Immersive in-person learning experience for coaches who want to go deeper than surface-level instruction.

Each retreat is intentionally limited in size (12) to encourage meaningful dialogue and collaboration.

Shadow live training sessions and see how ideas translate from theory into real coaching environments.
MORNING → Learn The Framework
Each day begins with an open Q&A session where coaches can ask questions and discuss ideas from the previous day. From there, we move into the core learning portion of the retreat with two presentations from The Science of Hitting curriculum, covering foundational concepts in movement, skill development, and coaching application.
AFTERNOON → Discuss & Apply It
After the morning sessions, we break for lunch before returning for a collaborative group activity. These sessions are designed to explore the concepts more interactively and allow coaches to discuss how the principles can apply within their own training environments.
EVENING → See It In Action
The day concludes with shadowing opportunities where attendees observe live training sessions with athletes. This allows coaches to see how the concepts discussed earlier in the day are applied in real time inside the cage.

During The Retreat, We Work Through The First Half Of Our Coaching Curriculum, The Science of Hitting.
Across four days, we work through eight foundational chapters that build a deeper framework for understanding movement, skill development, and coaching.
No. We intentionally do not provide early access to the curriculum. The retreat is designed so that everyone experiences the material together during the event, which allows for better discussion, shared learning, and live questions throughout the week. Each morning includes a Q&A session where attendees can ask follow-up questions from the previous day’s material. After the retreat, you’ll also have access to the community inside the app where you can continue asking questions and discussing the material as you revisit it over time.
No. While lunch is provided each day, attendees are not required to eat with the group. If you have dietary restrictions or prefer to bring your own food, you’re welcome to do so. Attendees are also free to leave for lunch if they’d like. We simply ask that everyone return on time so the afternoon sessions can begin as scheduled.
No. The lodging package is completely optional. Many attendees choose to arrange their own accommodations nearby and simply attend the retreat sessions each day. You are welcome to stay offsite and still participate fully in the event.
At the end of the four-day retreat, attendees who participate and are present each day will receive a certificate of completion for the first half of The Science of Hitting curriculum. The certificate will include your name and be signed by The Farm System team.
