Episode 22: Frank Gonzales, Supervisor of Development

On this episode, we sit down with Frank Gonzales. Frank is a Supervisor of Development for the Lancaster JetHawks, the High-A affiliate of the Rockies.

Gonzales, who formerly coached at Fort Collins High School and CSU, served the last two seasons as manager of the Grand Junction Rockies rookie league team. Gonzales also played at Colorado State before playing professionally.

He’s entering his sixth season in the Rockies organization.

Gonzales is the father of Marco and Alex Gonzales. Marco was the winning pitcher in four straight Class 5A state title games at Rocky Mountain High School and now pitches for the Seattle Mariners. Alex was part of Rocky Mountain’s 2014 state title team and is a catcher at Scottsdale Community College. He’ll play at Cal State Bakersfield next season.
